Cleaning your Maxi Cosi Priori XP Cover

Maintenance of the Maxi Cosi Priori XP is straightforward. Please ensure that you remove the Maxi Cosi Priori XP from the car before carrying out any of the cleaning activities.

The seat may be cleaned with lukewarm water and a gentle soap. Do not use abrasive detergents.

The Maxi Cosi Priori XP cover and the belt pads must be washed by hand at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. Do not use a dryer. Also see the washing instructions on the seat.

The belt buckle may be cleaned with warm water. (Do not lubricate).

It is advisable to buy an extra Maxi Cosi Priori XP cover (see the Accessories section for details) when you purchase the Maxi Cosi Priori XP car seat, so that you can use the Maxi Cosi Priori XP at all times, such as when the cover has to be cleaned (or dried).

If the cover on your seat has Velcro on the side seam on the back you can leave the entire belt system in place in the shell. You only need to open the Velcro and then follow the instructions for removing the cover.

Note that the car seat is not designed to be repaired by the end user - if the seat should be damaged then for safety reasons it should be replaced.
